Make These Natural Skin Care Products At Home

Caring for your skin does not have to be complicated or expensive. Of course, we're being told the complete opposite by all the marketing materials we find in magazines and see on TV. If you were to fall for the marketing, the only way you'd achieve better skin is if you go to fancy doctors dermatologists. Chemical based products are the answer as well. However, the fact is that you've likely got in your kitchen all you need to make sure your skin is the best it can be. For cleansing your skin, there are things like fruit, oatmeal, and olive oil that you can use. Today, we'll share with you a few natural skin care products you can actually make right in your kitchen.

A good facial cleanser is important to keep your face clean and clear. This is the reason many people spend a lot of money on cleansers. Here's a super easy cleanser you can make at home. Take 7 ounces of yogurt (plain) and add one tablespoon each of honey and lemon juice. Mix them all together well then apply on your face similar to how you'd apply a facial cleanser or facial wash on your face. Apply it on your whole face, avoiding the eyes. Now take a wash cloth and make sure to gently wipe off the yogurt. Rinse your face with cool water and pat the skin dry.

Here's a simple acne tonic you can make from water and basil. Boil water and then add a couple teaspoons of dried basil leaves. Let the basil steep in the hot water. Let this steep for no longer than twenty minutes. Remove the basil leaves when the water isn't hot anymore and transfer the tonic in a clean container that has an air tight lid. Use lukewarm water for washing your face before using the tonic. Soak a white cotton ball in the tonic and apply it to the problem areas of your skin. Do not wash it off. Let the skin absorb your tonic and pretty soon you'll see the swelling and redness go down.

As for the egg white, it makes for a great healing mask.

You want to mix the ingredients well so you get a consistent texture. This chocolate mask will hydrate your skin in addition to exfoliate it. Leave the mask on your face for 20 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. You can practice good skin care without spending way too much money on costly skin care products and treatments.
